The page is built using various elements, which you can select to modify. Once an element is selected, its settings will appear in the left sidebar—adjust these as needed.
When you’re done editing, click the Publish button in the top right corner. To preview your changes, click the drop-down arrow next to the Publish button and select View Page.
New elements can be added by clicking the plus icon in the top left corner. If you don’t drag a new element to a specific location on the page, it will be added to the bottom by default.
To rearrange elements, press and hold the three dots on the element’s container and drag it to the desired location. Additional options—such as duplicating, copying, and pasting—are available by right-clicking on an existing element.
If you want to exit the page editor without applying any changes, click the three-bar icon in the top left corner and select Exit to WordPress.

Editing the “Our Pastors” Page
The Our Pastors page is edited in two distinct locations: the page elements and the team members.
1. Editing Page Elements

To remove a team member: Hover over their name and click Trash.
To add a new team member: Click the Add New Team button and fill in the following fields:
Add Title: Enter the team member’s name.
Member Designation: Enter the individual’s job title or description.
Team Categories: Check the category they belong to (e.g., Pastors, Staff).
Set Featured Image: When the image editor opens, select the Pastors and Staff folder. Click Upload Files to upload a new image. Make sure the uploaded image matches the style and background of existing images.
To save changes to the team member’s profile, click the Publish button.
Editing Ministries

Editing Banner Image or Excerpt
To edit the banner image or excerpt shown on the Ministries landing page:
Hover over the ministry you want to edit.
Click the Edit button.
In the editor:
Update the Featured Image from the right sidebar.
Modify the Excerpt in the Excerpt section.
When uploading new ministry images, be sure to place them in the Ministries folder for better organization.
Click the Update button to save your changes.
Editing Ministry Page Content
To edit the page content (other than the main image or excerpt):
Hover over the ministry and select Edit with Elementor.
In the Elementor editor:
Click on any element to edit it. Its settings will appear in the left sidebar.
Adjust the content as needed.
When you’re done editing:
Click the Publish button in the top right corner.
To preview your changes, click the drop-down arrow next to the Publish button and select View Page.
Additional Tips:
To add new elements, click the plus icon in the top left corner.
If not dragged to a specific location, new elements will appear at the bottom of the page by default.
To rearrange elements, click and hold the three dots on the element’s container, then drag to the desired location.
Right-clicking an element reveals additional options like Duplicate, Copy, and Paste.
To exit without saving changes, click the three-bar icon in the top left corner and select Exit to WordPress.
Adding a New Ministry
To add a new Ministry:
Hover over an existing ministry and click Duplicate This to create a copy.
Hover over the duplicated ministry and click Quick Edit.
Update the Title, remove the Slug, and click Update.
Important: Removing the slug ensures the new page URL matches the new title correctly.
Open the duplicated page to edit its content as needed.
Once all changes are complete, update the Status to Published.
Venue Management
If an event is taking place at a location other than Greater Tabernacle Church, the location should first be added as a venue before creating the event. Defining venues ahead of time prevents the need to repeatedly enter the same information, allowing you to select an existing venue from the event creation page.

To add a new venue:
Follow the link above.
Click the Add New Venue button.
Enter the venue name in the Title field.
Fill in the venue details (address, etc.).
Check the Show Map Link box.
Event Management

To add a new event:
Follow the link above.
Click the Add New Event button.
Complete the following fields:
Title
Description
Time and Date: Events can be set as recurring.
Location: Choose from existing venues. If the venue hasn’t been defined, follow the instructions above to create it first.
Organizers: Optional
Event Cost: Optional
Set Featured Image:
All events must have an image.
Event images should be saved in the Events folder for consistency and organization.
To upload a new image, navigate to the Events folder, then click the Upload Files tab followed by Select Files.
Once uploaded, click Set Featured Image.
If you don’t have a specific image for the event, use the Event Placeholder image.
After all fields are filled out, click the Publish button to save and publish the event.
Managing Blog Entries

Creating a New Blog Entry
Follow the link above.
Click the Add Post button.
Blog entries use the default WordPress editor, which simplifies the editing process.
In the editor:
Enter a Title for your blog post.
Type or paste your article content into the main editor area.
Optionally, add additional content blocks by clicking the plus (+) icon.
In the right sidebar, configure the following settings:
Publish Date (Optional): You may change the publish date if needed.
Featured Image:
Set a featured image for the post.
Make sure new images are uploaded to the Blog Posts folder for proper organization.
Author:
Typically, select Greater Tabernacle as the author.
If the article is written by a guest, you can define a new author using the Advanced Author block:
Select the Guest tab.
Enter the author’s name.
Category:
Select an appropriate category for the post.
When all fields are complete, click the Publish button to save and publish the post.
Editing the Connect Page

Editing the Contact Us Form

To edit the form:
Hover over the form title and click Edit to open the Form Editor.
The editor uses a drag-and-drop interface for ease of use.
Form submissions are sent to the email addresses specified under Settings > Notifications within the editor.
All form submissions are also stored in the database and can be viewed by hovering over the form title and selecting Entries.
Pages and posts can be rolled back to a previous version if needed—for example, if something goes wrong during editing.
To restore a previous version:
Navigate to the desired page or post.
Click Edit Page or Edit Post in the WordPress admin bar at the top.
In the right sidebar, look for the Revisions section. If revisions exist, it will display as Revisions (#).
Click the revision count (#) to view available versions.
Use the interface to compare versions and restore the desired one by clicking Restore This Revision.
Modifying the Header and Footer
Note: Modifying the header and footer is a more advanced task. Proceed with caution, and make sure to review changes before publishing.
