Ministry in Action: Feeding the Roseland Community

This past weekend, the men of Greater Tabernacle Church of Chicago took ministry beyond the sanctuary and into the streets of Roseland. With fire on the grill and love in our hearts, we served free meals to our neighbors—no strings attached.

In a world where help often comes with conditions, we simply showed up to serve. No sign-up sheets, no donations—just the heart of Jesus in action. The Bible reminds us, “I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me” (Matthew 25:42). This weekend, we made sure we did.

From flipping burgers to bagging meals, every man played his part in showing Christ’s love through service. It wasn’t just about feeding stomachs—it was about feeding souls with compassion, community, and care.

We’re not done. We’re just getting started.
